Ward began working in her family’s Arnold real estate office at age 13, answering the phones, managing bulk mailings and performing odd jobs for the newly formed Calaveras County MLS. In 1980 she acquired her real estate license, then her broker’s license in 1983. Ward and her husband established Barry Ward Realty in 1986. They continue to work, reside and play in the Arnold area enjoying occasional visits from their three grown daughters and two young grandsons.

Elaine lives in Arnold with her husband, Ray, who is a local house painter. They have four children and nine grandchildren. John began his real estate career in 1994, joining Barry Ward Realty as a Broker in the Spring of 1999.

Rod attended college at University of California, Santa Barbara. After earning his BA degree he moved to Europe and worked for international technology companies in both Hamburg, Germany and Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
