Grizzly Ridge is a small subdivision just east of Arnold consisting of only about 40 lots. Each lot is at least an acre in size and is sericed by underground utilities. The area contains some of Arnold’s most prestigious homes. The relatively large lot size in Grizzly Ridge allows more possibilities for privacy and some of the lots offer marvelous views to the distant ridges towards the South. There are only a few lots remaining that have not been improved, so any lot that comes on the market here will fetch a premium price. The homes here are on individual septic systems and receive their water through Calaveras County Water District. There is no homeowner’s association recreation facility, thus no access to any private lake, pool or clubhouse facilities. However, as is the case with any area, one can choose to join Sequoia Woods Country Club or make use of any of the local public lakes, rivers, or streams.
